summer festivals maybe we all have a case of the december blues? I've never been to a summer festival, been too busy being scrouge and earning pennies. what are they like and what are the best ones to go too, maybe we could arrange for board members all to gang up and head off to one, in a sunny promise utopia, might lighten up the current situation:groovy: :groovy: mmmm, sits and thinks of warm summer evenings
Gods Kitchen Global Gathering was fantastic last year! Definately going again next year! Was last weekend of July so probs be same time next year. 35000 crowd watching/listening to 80 Dj's playing in 7 arenas - Gods Kitchen, Sundissential (WAHOO!!!), Gallery, Helter Skelter, Colours, Atomic Jam, Babooshka. Something for everyone. Took 7hrs on the coach to Long Marstons, Stratford upon Avon (£20 return), ticket was £49.50 (inc B/F) but well worth the time and money for what was my highlight of the summer. Thinking about doing the 4 major festivals this year but too early to make plans yet...
I've been to Creamfields a few times and its usually really good sitting in the sun at the end of august , we usually go to mark the end our summer after are annual ibiza jaunt !! Went to all the Crasher summer sound systems apart from this year they where good apart from last year when it pissed down and everyone was covered in mud , the best festival I ever went to was Crasher Lotherton Hall it was just amazing !!! I wish they would go back there and have a smaller venue than S.S.S but it is just so much better than Turweston all the way down south !! :groovy: :groovy: :groovy:
I've never been to a Summer Festival, usually comes down tom me not getting off my arse and asking mates the arrangements. Always left til the last minute in due course is way to late to go. I think I shall make some sort of effort next year tho as im sick of people spouting their patter saying rthat they had really good times etc
