Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the Player does not support the format you are trying to play. thats what i got :spangled:
Sounds OK, just the usual buffering that I get. I'm quite a way from the exchange, using a 56k with 'fixed gain'.
iam on 512kbps telewest thingy and iam getting 32 kpbs from it..It keeps buffering tho..Normally when i play a live set in Windows media player you get no buffering whatsoever.. Try this on a Weekend mms://24.188.227.230:1475 Funky house..and its perfectly clear..Get it like that and your on a roll. Infact..while ive been writing this..it aint been buffering.Workin fine now.
freeserve 56k modem, comes in fine at 32Kbits/s doesn't re-buffer unless I put in in background and make some more network traffic nice juan
Thanks for your help peeps, I'm gonna take it offline now. I hope that after this first trial that we soon will be doing regular broadcasts. I'll let yall know.
Right, I've got it all up and running and it should stay that way for a couple of days. On rotation we have mixes by... Matt Hardwick (Trance) Lee Roberts (Tribal House) Richard Tulip (Prog - Trance - Hard Trance) Lee Foster (Trance) Simon Stuart (House, and Phat Breaks). All comments are welcome, does it work for you? Does it buffer too much or not at all? I have limited the stream to about 32kbps so even if you have an broadband that is all you will get for now. I will get media player to show which dj you are listening to as soon as I work out how to do it. Please give feedback so I can improve the service.
