Jus go as you normally would and enjoy it. I go to the rock nite in boro every week and there is only bout 30% of the people there dressed as u would consider "rock" or gothic. Plus most of the people are really friendly
Was stopping an an ex's from Ashington over Christmas few years ago. One Christmas day, apparantly it was "tradition" to go to a "rock disk" at a huge working mans club on "Ashie main street"...The Central or something. Me head was completely done in They actually had a live band on playin utter shite so loud metal tunes, I was hungover as fuck, stuck with me g/f and her metal lovin Brother at this table. Nightmare!
safety pins for ear rings and that. you'll love it. just keep your eyes on the ground at all times and only speak when spoken too and you shouldn'y have too many missing body parts
I went to Cuba Cuba on a friday once, it wasnt very busy there wasnt a great atmosphere and the music was cheesy,
rock nights are pretty cool u tend to fine they are some of the most open minded people u will ever meet in there anyway have fun
Bring back the Mayfair!!! (Christ, I'm getting old...) Anyways, I've never been into an unfriendly rock bar/club, and all the places in Newcastle are ultra-friendly. The only problem with rocky nights out (apart from 15-year-old 'goths' who've never even heard of Joy Division) is that the DJ's play the same cheesey crap week in, week out - the only exception being Rock @ The Arena. And nowt beats mindless bouncing about!
i was in trillians 2nite... dont remember much abt it tho... must have been ok, nothing stands out! im sure ya'll have fun :groovy:
