Driving Test Not that far away from putting in from my test and it will be on the Blyth route ... anyone passed on that route? Are the test guys renowned for being tough, wankers etc ?? Ps. What's that big fuck off hill about on the route with single lane bridge at the bottom.
Re: Driving Test Thats the furnass Bank in Bedlington Station, wouldnt worry too much about it, it aint a busy road and everything is visible in daylight You'll probably do your hillstart on that hill.
Re: Re: Driving Test That's the one, I did a couple of hill starts on Monday night, c unt of a closed junction at the top though.
Re: Re: Re: Driving Test Yeah, hopefully you'll turn left at the top of there, its a wierd juntion, theres been a fair few accidents there
Dont know the route myself, in my experience examiners are usually strict (occasionally unfair) I passed first time but most of my mates have had numerious attempts. Just relax and it should be ok. Good Luck!
Another driving related question ... With a budget of say £4000-£5000 what car would be a good buy bearing in mind I would want a small engine tokeep insurance to a min. I've been looking at Corsas.. Also, where are the best garages/ used car delaers? Not CARSHOCK
The older shape are pretty poor cars tbh, the newer ones are slightly better but theres still better out there. I'd be tempted by a Jap car, they are usually quicker and more reliable. Does the budget include insurance or not?
Not but I have no trade in so might be possible to stretch the budget and go for a free insurance deal bearing in mind it will be first year driving.
I swear to god, vauxhall corsa SXI T-X reg. I've just taken a black one for a test drive, absolutley gorgeous. £4400. Group 3 insurance, 1.2 16 valve nippy as fuck and cheaper to insure than my 1.1 rust bucket of a fiesta. Go for it. PS, I passed with Ken Cole in Blyth and I was just driving through that area you talked about the other day.
PS, Reg vardy because they do the car out fully and make it look as new, also giving it 6 months tax + full MOT.
The parts for any repairs needed are expensive tho On the driving test - just wear a low cut top and a skirt, I did - passed 1st time!! And Im a mint driver
My lass has just got a Y-reg corsa, its nice and seems like its gonna be a good car Its only a 1 litre tho but its quite nippy!
£4400 for a T-X reg 1.2 corsa, seems abit much imo. I payed £5500 for my V-reg 106GTi about 7months ago. Jap parts aint too bad, they hardly ever go wrong. I went to a dealers for some parts for my pug and the prices were shocking (obviously dealers always are).
corsa r alrite 1st cars i'll sell ya mine £1200, im hopefully gettin a calibra nxt month, cant wait sum proper power at last
I nearly bought one of them instead of the Celica, but the bloke had sold it b4 we got there Was lush, and had ridiculous horse power - rocket
i love my yaris & wudn't change it for the world...they're well nippy & econonical on petrol! never had nee botha with it!
