Graham Gold.... ... He's playing at a Bar where i live.... Never thought i'd say it but.... "IM OFF TO SEE GRAHAM GOLD PLAY TONIGHT!" I dunno, 30 minutes away from London on the train and i cant be arsed to go in and sample the best clubbing in the world ...... Im getting old and grey!
I have just got one of his new tunes, can't decide whether its cheesy or not, the vocal is a bit mad?
Re: Re: Graham Gold.... Woking, a posh suburb of london Just read a review saying this is the best night that surrey has to offer in terms of the underground scene... lol. Ill post a review maybe
You nippers dont know your born He's about 60 years old ... well, mid 40's..... from the "old days" of the clubbing boom... 96-98 stylee First DJ i ever heard live... Graham Gold then Judge Jules
He did a tune last year called LA Today which was basically Members of Mayday - 10 in 1 with the chords slightly changed around, comical. I bought it aswell
I was pleasantly surprised actually last night - Its always good to go to small "local" nights once in a while to realise how much graft and effort people put in to things.... moreso how alot of DJ's end up being able to wipe the floor with the big names. Prog, Breaks and then some trance... it was all commercial by that point and the crowd was the usual bunch of musical tourists and sherminators, but the build up was great i thought ... graham gold is a legend
anyone else think that Graham Gold - The Ending is quite good in a cheesey sort of way......or do i need to ang my head in shame
on a kinda side note... does any1 knows if the hacienda cd play before 1/96 is worth anything? its mixed by graham gold! i need money so thinking of selling anything i can get money for! lol
