I've stopped in a flat at Lothian Road for a few days, during the Festival week. Avoided the local bars, but enjoyed myself anyhow. That's all I can say on the matter.

I've been to The Kitchen before I think, can't say if it's still there though.

That place brings back memories of the dark days when I worked in Burger King on Princes Street back in 1996.

If only those memories had been happy ones....

I've played Ego and the Honeycomb. Both were wicked nights, people were really friendly. I really like Edinburgh.

Can remember after playing Ego walking down Lothian Road and seeing nothing but scum fighting! The number of people who came up to us to have a chat and find out who we were was unreal. We couldn't get a taxi so walked 3 miles to the afterparty. Wouldn't have minded the walk if I hadn't has two flight cases with me!
