Honestly it's class, they way they bring the two stories together is very clever.

Totally flows, action from start to finish!

no its not, its an AWFUL desecration of 2 perfectly viable film franchises - the aliens are for some reason the Predator's bitches? Eh? The aliens gestate in 2 hrs when it takes abot 48-96 in the other films? EHH??

Another Paul WS disaster - this man can do no right.

i don't think this type of film is really aiming for an accurate and realistic set of events now is it....

i thought it was pretty good, i usually dislike most films, especially trashy action ones like this but it wasn't too ott, and was pleasently short and action packed, exactly what it promised really

Point taken with regards realism, but I was questioning the film's continuity and the contradictions within it. The holes in the already flimsy plot, that tarnishes the other films in the franchises rather than expanding on their backstory, mean we have to rely purely on visual spectacle for excitement.

However, with a friendly Predator and a softened Alien, there is virtually no tension, replacing the jumpy psychological drama of Alien in particular and the other films to a lesser degree with an almost comical "Fight! Fight! Fight!" mentality reminiscent of Freddy vs Jason, et al.

All we have really is a cheap special effects ride with poor plot and characterisation ( expected ), but which does not deliver on the action side where it could have partly redeemed itself.

IMO its like rewriting the Bible to mix and mash these two movies.

It wont be recognized as anything to do with the previous films by any true fan.

Wait for the sequel "Black Chicks" its about 2 white cops who get disguised as 2 chicken loving African American Ladies with massive arses and fat lips.

doing "Vs." are just cash-ins in my opinion. Alien in itself was a crackin set of films (50% of them) and Predator 1 was also very well done and a new idea. unfortunately the 2nd predator film ruined the whole thing and killed the series. there could have been 3 or 4 predator films if they'd have done it well - defo 1 of the best aliens created for film. There's loads of AvP books that explain this relationship between the aliens and the predators.


i've heard it's a action film from start to end so i'm going to enjoy it for what it is, rather than going is as a purist-alien/predator trainspotter - it's like the 3rd (well 6th actually) and final star wars film... it'll never live up to what the PURISTS believe it should be....
