if there was a nuclear war tomorrow (and then society slowly rebuilt itself,) which musical era in recent times : 60's ,70's 80's ,90'sor 00's do you think would be classed as the best of times when we looked back?

If the world had ended no-one would be writing any history books.

I knew some bright spark would write " but if the world ended there would be no histroy books. I mean if there was a holocaust - nuclear and then years later people rediscoverd there was this thing called dance music.

I reckon the 60's or the late 80's would be classed as the best of times

the late 90s would probbaly get a mention too as would the millenium

so in response to your sensible question, i would seek some proof it really was happening, i would get a bit :spangled: get with my ness and my mates, nick a smart car, go see my mam and dad, tell them i love them, run about naked, kick my tele in, smoke loads, eat a macdonalds, stroke my puppies, go see ness's mam, try and find a paintballing gun and go mad. its all good :)

The good bands that are coming through now will define the 00's if they can stay as consistant as there first few albums suggest they can

    Keane
    Snow Patrol
    Killers
    Futureheads
    Razorlight
    Kings of Leon
    Coldplay

All bands with a lot of potential :D

wheres girls aloud, westlife, G4 , and that guy (see i forgot him already) who won x factor.

keane class, coldplay class. I'mthinking they will maybe have 3or 4 albums each max like.

dance music to be fair needs a new revolution.

the 50's had rock n roll
    the 70's had punk
    the 80s had disco etc...
    the 90's had rave
what has the noughties got :

Suppose every decade has something to look back on!

i much prefer 60s & 70s, loving the Motown sound which is out around then! The 80s was a bit of hit and miss IMO!
