Ive just been to see The Decent. euuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh :sick: :cry2: I jumped loads!! Dont like scary films, god knows why I keep going to see them! :doh:

What are some of the scariest films youve seen??

The first 30 mins of jeepers creepers is excellent..

Pity its got a pretty dissapointing twist in the middle though..
Think I might go see the descent.. is it any good?

candyman, it and omen used to get me as a kid... blair witch and exorcist i thought were decent if watched in the right circumstances... nothing really scares me no more tho

nail on head, it was awesome... it was well good until you actually saw the 'thing' for the first time... after that it was truely abysmal

Its defo the way these films should be done though (without the flying beasty thing).

Also Dawn of the dead (the remake) was brilliant.. mixture of horror and action.. can't wait for land of the dead!

Blair witch is a great film.. they tried to do something innovative with the genre and suceeded imo.

Have just watch Saw for the first time this aft and can say that i am well and truly disturbed. It's horrible, really feel sick. whhooaaa:evil:

you either think its shite or good...

the first time i watched it was at my sisters, on my own with the lights off and windows open so as a kid i was pretty scared...

i like the way it builds an atmosphere, but when ive watched it since it hasnt had half the effect!

Saw is a really good movie 2.. on par with 7.
Tis a bit gory and twisted though

As a rule I don't really like horrors, I'm more into action films, but the few I have seen have been excellent.

IT has to be the worst film ever. I havent seen it, but that clown has petrified me for years. I swear to god, I nearly faint! :camp:

The Decent isnt scary so to speak, its just really gory and very jumpy!!! I was hiding behind Stephen's hand!!

i made paula watch IT and she was fine... thats saying something considering she gets scared at really crap horror films!

the beginning is decent but the rest is cheesy... watch it and it might make you realise its pretty naff!

aye clowns are scary anyway...

the jaws films used to scare me as a kid... sharks are cool but i hate swimming where theres even a tiny risk of an attack
