my bank card has had lip gloss spilt all over it in my bag and its been there fore a few days only just realised

if i clean it off shoud it still work??

i would imagine so, just aslong as the magnetic stip isn't damaged

Just try and clean it off with some make-up remover/turps. It should work, but if it doesn just go to a supermarket and get cash back- even if the card doesn't swipe they'll probably just input the card number manually so it should work.

Give it a wash, it'll be fine babe

Even if it doesnt work you can go to the branch and get cash .
and order a new card!

You have no idea how much of a battering a card will take. I've had super glue on mine, then snapped it in half, then selotaped it back together, scraped the glue off resulting in the black strip having bits missing etc and the card still worked fine. I just had to be a bit careful when putting the selotaped card into the cashpoint cos it was very flimsy

I can't I got a new card

I've actually snapped 2 cards and had them selotaped back together with no problems.

If you don't believe me, try it. (Visa Electron - I'm not sure about other cards)
