    I know this is a sweeping generalisation BUT after having lived with 3 chinese people at Uni and now having some chinese people living downstairs from me I have come to the conclusion that

    a) they never sleep and

    b) they can't whisper or talk quietly they have to shout everything

    This has been brought around by the fact that every night last week I have been woken up by them at about 4.30am shouting like hell. I'm not too arsed when I'm not at work the next day but when I have an 11 hour shift at work I relaly can't be arsed with some chinese people chatting at a hundred times the desired level to be heard :evil:

    Even at Uni, the girls who I lived with were ALWAYS up and about no matter what time you came in/went out/got up for uni/sneaked along the corridor for some nookie and I could hear them talking from my room which was 3 doors down :evil:

    I dunno about the Chinese, but this Turkish lass who lives down the corridor is well noisy, and eats revolting vile foods that stink the kitchen out.

    chinese are hillarious.. I got a spear off one for my birthday last year.. and a load of chinese tea for christmas this year.. crazy bastards..

    no need for the used sanitary towels on the wash basin / shower back in first year though :(

    :lol: I hand a major rant about this elsewhere last week, it's not as if they are angry (I think) they just constantly shout, you can't tell wether they are pissed off about something, or judge their emotions at all, it's such a harsh loud tone all the time.

    I live in halls at uni and can hear the person in the next flat along and up on the next floor on the phone at 3 in the morning.
    Apprently I'm racist now as I rang up and reported the noise (yes it really was that bad) to the warden as it's exam time and it's supposed to be quiet after 10 (nothing to do with the fact they reported me for playing my mucic fairly loud on a Saturday night)
