Cdjs Or Vinyls Question for Djs on here which do you prefer useing CDJS Or Vinyls p.s - sorry if mods think a have posted this in wrong section a think it should be in banter part
naaaah m8 im on me 3rd set of decks now !!! had soundlab belt drives about 10 year ago , then got a pair of second hand 1210 mk2's , then a djm600 followed closely by a single cdj1000 !! Sold the mk2's with a brand new pair of 1210 mk5g's in there place and got a 2nd cdj1000 !!! im still shite tho
tbh if im just playin at home then vinyl it is as i prefer the feel of mixin vinyl but if im playin out then cdj are better for the versitlity of playin around with the tunes plus cd are a fuck load lighter
Prefer vinyl always, It feels better to mix and a record collection looks alot better then a book of white CD's with scribble on But each to there own! Might be the fact I've collected vinyl for about 16 years so I'll be fooked if i'm gonna change now
had my 1210's since i was 18 and really liked it, but felt as if i had grown out of them about 6 months ago. and it was costing me an absolute fortune aswell! up to £10 a vinyl! got my cdj's about 3 months ago and i love them 2bits, alot more precise, and alot more tighter mixing aswell you can get, loads of unreal tunes for a quarter of the price from many legal audio download sites, (audiojelly, vonc, beatport, e.t.c) vinyl decks were mint back in the day dont get me wrong, but i personaly think times are changing and cdj's are the future
