Free metros If you get the metro for free (the train not the paper) is there a certain number of times that you're allowed to get fined so long as you're a good citizen that pays his way when forced, as its cheaper, before they take you to court? Someone told me you're allowed to get caught four times the other day, in this day and age I think there should be free food and transport for everyone. It's madness.
I'm not sure, blatently ripping off the metro all the time? I hadn't heard of it either. I never pay unless I get fined and it makes it well cheap. I'd happily go on the "loser list" if it wasn't so expensive, I love their patronising posters. As if 90% more people in the meadowell get the metro for fear of being branded a loser by a bunch of train conductors.
Its crazy when it happens, I was standing next to the doors when someone hit the brake, my head nearly went through a piece of glass. However, I did see the funny side!
If no-one paid, they would have to install new systems and barriers like they have in London, or employ vast numbers of ticket inspectors. This would cost a fortune, which would then be passed on to anyone using the Metro once it was all in place.
tbf one of the times i wanted to walk and jess said no lets get the metro, and the other time is was pissing down with rain.
I never try and risk it! There is sly inspectors snooting around even at night time! Once I was waiting for metro n friend didn't have a ticket at 9 on a tuesday night train arrived with inspectors...so didnt get on then the next one had them on too!
