Alot of people are complaining about last friday being very quiet especially towards the end, do you think if it did get a 6am licence by 4-5 it would be virtually empty ???

Dickie why do Ibiza clubs get a surge in the middle of the night? Because the clubs in Ibiza give discounted entry to workers. I am sure if Promise did this tactic it could be busy. But it would mean some poor sod going to every late bar & night club in town handing discounted entry flyers to the bar + a poster for the staff room.

So is it being open till 6am a pointless exercise as there will be hardly anyone there ?

The last 6am finish half emptied at about 3 or 4. But the people who mattered were there! :D

Dont forget alot of people get paid monthly aswell, normally at the end of the month, people are just coming back from holidays so may be skint and are only just going back to Uni.

Im pretty positive promise will be rammed and the 6am licence would be class, even if theres just me there from 4-6am :D

No, if people work hard at Team Promise it could be a lot busier than an normal club night, because you would be able to attract lots of people who finish work but have nowhere to go normally.

    pay day doesn't garuntee(sp!) full house - look at j00f/tomcraft/sheridan... but hopefully Ferry/hardwick/gelderen combination will pull a top turnout - it's a bonus with a 6am finish...

Newcastle freshers were here last week, northumbria next week... thats the peeps u wanna be targeting!

Also, 2nd & 3rd years are back the week leading up to it... i think it will be heaving.

fornightly promise makes me smile :D

Can you see many freshers being into trance? Trance isnt the sound it was 2 to 4 years ago, never mind late 90's.

I think most students liked Indie in the early 90's.

    Get with the times

therell surely be a few into trance?? or some even about to be converted?? promise has been quieter all summer imo since the students left, its the 1st one with them being back and the last 6am finish was promises busiest ever night, so the 6am licence must be some kind of draw, even if just to tempt people to travel to come???

just as long as matt plays last ill be well happy :p

A 6am finish is defo an incentive for non promise regulars to go in my opinion, more for your money n that, plus Ferry Corsten = full club :D
