Forgot all about this... might have a look over the weekend Training day was an excellent movie... got high hopes for this one!
Training day was excellent like a love that film. This one is good 2, takes a little while to warm up, but well worth a watch
ooooh i will have to check this at one point over this long wkend always had a soft spot for ethan hawke.....
I feel like I've had 3 hours of my life taken from me, the film took so long to even begin to pick up momentum and 2hours in I was dying for it to just end. Since I'd already invested 2 hours in the film I thought I'd let it play out only to be met by another hour of slow tosh and irrelevance topped off by the 'climax' of the stories intertwining 5 minutes before the end. The only thing I was glad about was that everyone died. I'm sorry if you've read this and I've ruined it but it's not worth wasting your time with anyway so I've done you a favour.
Ahh well it obviouslly wasn't you're cuppa, it has a good rating & I found it pretty good. Try ice age.
Haha you plumb, it wasn't that I didn't get it, I did. I knew what he was trying to do I just don't think the director in my opinion has the ability to make this kind of movie, there was nothing wrong with the acting and the stories had so much potential but they unfortunately just couldn't deliver the goods for me.
Trying to make a lengthy classic but falling short is something that happens all too often these days I feel, the budgets there, the actors are there but...na.
found a decent copy of this online lastnight, it was a canny, defo worth a watch... gotta love a bit of good cop, bad cop
was expecting good things of this but not sure after the slagging it got above will prob watch it anyway on the basis that i fucking love training day and its the same director + Denzel
