MAIN ROOM: Motion Martinez Brothers Darius Syrossian Patrick Topping UPSTAIRS: Ambience Simon Baker Ryan Brewis Ben Carter Steve Henderson TERRACE Matty Robson (Module) Jonny Burn (Module) Kris Emmet (LOOP) Chris Hodgson After a short gap since our sell-out Eats Everything & Shadow child party, Motion returns for a Boxing Day special at Digital. Headlining is the mighty duo from the Bronx The Martinez Brothers. Residents of DC-10, the brothers spent the summer on tour with Circo Loco delivering standout sets the world over. Having released their first EP as teenagers, they were a fixture on the global club circuit years before they were legally allowed in clubs In America. Now having released on an enviable list of labels, the pair have just provided two of the Ibiza Anthems, with their remixes of Santos Resiak - A Better Light and Green Velvet’s Bigger Than Prince. Last Boxing Day Darius Syrossian took the roof off, so we are buzzing to have him back. His profile within house music has only risen since then too, with his inclusion in R.A’s Top 100 DJs, plus another huge season as resident at Sankeys Ibiza for Viva Warriors under his belt and an even bigger discography, we can not wait to have him play again. Upstairs is hosted by fledgling Newcastle party Ambience, headlining the room is a Newcastle favorite- Simon Baker. With releases on various top labels such as Cocoon, Rekids, Leftroom, Get Physcial, Crosstown Rebels and recently My Favourite Robot and Sasha’s imprint Last Night on Earth. Simon is about to bring his own label nofitstate’ to the table too with Geddes. Support comes from Ambicence’s Ryan Brewis, Ben Carter & Steve Henderson. Completing the main room line-up is Motion resident and co-founder Patrick Topping. After a short gap away from Newcastle playing all over the UK and overseas, following releases on Hot Creations & Hot Trax, this is a rare set on home soil for him. Opening up the main room will be Motion resident Ben Wood, whilst the downstairs Other Rooms will feature a selection of local favourites – Matty Robson & Jonny Burn (Module), Kris Emmett (Loop) and Chris Hodgson.
