    this lad in the 2nd year of my course has one.. he's scouse.. he blatantly nicked it...

    not bad.. although ive heard network coverage for video calls are v limted at the min..

    apparently they drop a lot of calls when switching between 3 coverage and O2 coverage areas...

    and they are currently the size of that 'mobile' phone zac morris had in saved by the bell :down:

    I strongly recommend you get a normal phone that has a good camera in it. My Dad has the flip 3 phone and it drops calls all the time, goes flat way too fast and makes random beeping sounds all day.

    3 service is also really shit, they don't know what they are doing and alot of the time the operators don't understand what yr saying as they don't speak very good english.

    Ive heard that 3 are shit too. A lad I worked with had one and his battery died all the time. :dunce: Im quite happy with jus a camera fone, altho the novelty wore off some time ago. :rolleyes: :p Some great pics tho :wink:

    Coverage is pretty shit outside London/M25 ive heard.

    Although its getting better all the time, and theres some really nice looking phones out soon.

    The current ones are very "brickish" tho

    ABSOLUTE PIECE OF SHIT!!!

    Save ur money!!!

    I got the new NEC e616 yesterday and its GARBAGE!!!

    Decent enuff phone but once u start using 3 services (which are SLOW SLOW SLOW) it kills the battery QUICKLY..........

    Cant even make/receive normal voice calls most of time...

    Even when just sat down still trying to make/receive a call is a joke - signal goes crap - the voice of person ur speakin to goes all choppy (and yours does to them) and then eventually u get disconnected.

    When using the 3g stuff the connection keeps dropping - timing out - going very very very slow...........

    Even sending txts is a pain - get "cannot send messages at this time" message a lot n have to go and retry the send.

    Needless to say its going back!

    -100000000000000000000 out of 10!

    Think that jus comes thru as normal GPRS so pay per kb etc yeah.........

    Not even gonna bother tryin to suss it all out - not worth it - its gash and going back :)

    3 have a LOT of work to do before they can even consider charging subscription fees...shud be free currently cos every1 using it is just BETA TESTERS!!!!!!!!! testing their service for em and paying for it :eek: :eek: :eek:

    my mate was gonna get that but changed his mind when they told him it couldn't do video calling??

    i thought 3 was supposed to be the video network! :lol:

    The only reson I would ever consider using a 3 connection is if I could get faster net access, I want broadband on the move.
