You'll get a barcode scanner as standard and can download most apps from your screen if you are vieing them online and have a square thing to scan like this..

http://www.probeez.com/ just scan it and it will find it on your phone for download.

Settings profiles full is decent if you need your phone for diff situations such as work and normal, it will automatically change things at selceted times such as 8am change everything to work settings then put them back at 5pm.

pop sms is good as the default messenger clients shit. Pair it with chomp sms and you have a cooler and more stylish workable sms client.

ebuddy and fabook chat if you want to use facebook and msn on your phone. Battery Status pro will keep an eye on battery life for you, g mote if your wanting to use your phone to control your pc and listen to music wirelessly on your phone from the garden or use it like a laptop touchpad to control your pc. Layar is good for finding out whats around your local environment if your going away anywhere and depending on your contract 3g watchdog will keep an eye on your data use.

nesoid is good if you want a nes emulator as well, need full to load saved games but super mario 3 is more than worth the few quid it costs for full over light.

If your downloading apps online and sticking them on tha card you'll need appinstaller.

I got the 2.2 update yesterday and I don't see anything that suggests I don't need the BBC iplayer app. I've tried that app and it seems shot so I uninstalled.. wish there was an official one!

apparently the beeb player had to be removed as the bbc complained and only works now for those who originally installed it.

Myplayer replaced that been app, works ok on my phone.

I was under the impression 2.2 would run the iplayer the same way a laptop would. Get my update this week sometime .
