I haven't bothered looking for the Yahoo link, for fear that I'll spend the rest of the day reading all 25,000 responses and therefore get sacked!

as much as id hate to admit it my thought's are one day it will kick off big time and there will be but one race/civilasation left to rule the world millions would die needlessly and the planet would be in one big sorry mess but rest assured no doubt they would find somthing to fight about then start again! vicious cycle of manhood unfortunately, as i've said before if mankind just grew up and realised that we all need to live side by side irrespective of religion creed colour or what football team we supported then this world would be such a lovley place to live . if ailiens were observing this planet to come and destroy us they'd take one looks and say 'hang on for a bit they'll doit them selves and save us a job!' if we carry on the way we are

It is a shame but unfortunatley there are evil, selfish people in the world (frenchie), this cant be helped. it will always be the same. world peace is nothing but a fantasy, one that will NEVER become a reality.

There is nothing to suggest that mankind is under threat, the world was far more unstable 50 ago - the application of modern science to revolutionary political models pushed the world to its very limits; science found ways to create weapons beyond mans wildest nightmares and used these weapons in places like Hiroshima, science was manipulated by revolutionary political regimes giving prejudiced pseudo science like racism legitimacy, science was applied to genocide producing industrial methods of destroying men never seen by this world before, rising political ideologies thrust the world into titanic battles... What I'm attempting to say is - the world is a lot safer today than it has been in the past.
