My dad is in hospital He had a really really bad pain down his right side last night and started being sick at about midnight. By about 3am he was being really violently sick every 10mins or so :s NHS helpline sent a doctor over cos apparently he would need to assess the situation and decide if there's a need for an ambulance. Once that lazy sod got here (45mins or so) he made some pretty unsuitable jokes about the broadband we have and our outside light :s then decided an ambulance to hospital would be a good idea. They're doing more tests on him cos he's still in pain..
Yeah me too.. he's never been in hospital before and he's terrified of it. He was walking out of Hexham hospital before after visiting my mam a few years back and was retching cos he cannot stand the smell of dinner time He also had nightmares about having gas to put him to sleep cos my mam told him it had a weird 'hospital' smell. He's going to be loving it. Hope he's not in pain for long though :s
aww i feel so sorry for him i hate hospitals, dr's and dentists the NHS is shit, youve gotta be dying before they bother with you, its appauling
I know. The doctor was an idiot though. He kept making inappropriate jokes as if my dad wasn't wriggling around in agony whilst making the worst puking noises I've ever heard. All he did was fill out soem forms then phone an ambulance and we had to wait about 45mins for the doctor to turn up in the first place.
Hope he's ok, I was in hospital for the 1st time this weekend, had to have a operation last nite and i was petrified of gettin put to sleep! Tell him it aint too bad, the oxygen mask just smells like plastic hope everythin goes ok for him.
hope hes ok, my mam slipped and fell in bathroom last year but the ambulance wasnt even going to take her into hospital and stitch her head up in our house, luckily after my neighbour had a go at them to take her they did, and found a tumor in her brain, she died in may this year, but if it wasnt for my neighbour finding her and making the ambulance take her to hospital she would have been gone a lot sooner
He has a kidney stone apparently. He was being sick so much that he's strained his left eye. Looks like he has a massive black pupil
He defo backed that up with sound effects i'll tell u that much. What's the course of treatment for it? They haven't touched it yet but he's back here at home (for now I guess..) You have to be pretty ill to strain your eyeball haha I shouldn't really be laughing
He's been told it's small so he has to piss it out into a container so they can find out what it's made of. Apparently there's a good chance i could end up gettin one since ym dad has :s I'm gonna start drinking lots of water.
