No need to panic, it's Pardew's worst run since he came to be fair to him. We're through in Europe, so things aren't that bad. O'Neill's "blip" has been going on for a lot longer, bar his first 6 games of last season, but since then SAFC have been utter dross. There were rumours that O'Neill did actually offer to resign on Saturday after defeat.
i think we only started playing with about 15mins to go! haha...part of me thought we may grab a cheeky equaliser, as we actually looked like we wanted it...some positives, but still nowhere near good enough.. you lot could easily have been on the receiving end of a 6-0..they hit the crossbar and post 3 times and the goal that was disallowed was onside..
We over achieved last season and spent nothing. We're not doing that badly this season considering. We're in the position we deserve to be, given what we have to play with [money and players]. Can't argue with how the league looks if I'm being honest. I think the only frustrating thing for fan's, is the lack of money and commitment from the board. Instead of capitalising on last seasons achievements, we've sat back, tightened the purse strings and now it's bit us, big time. We only have about 6 'Premiership Players' in the squad, when they pick up injuries the gulf in quality replacements is quite shocking. If anything I thought January would have been a great opportunity for Pardew to go to the board and present his case for more funds. But it doesn't look like that thats happening either according to the papers: http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/n...lent-treatment-over-transfers-61634-32319693/
I dont think it's anything to do with pardew tbh. Cisse need's a right kick up the fucking arse i know that much. People are saying that he'll "return to form soon" [hopefully] That's not good enough really like. he's been a right waste of space this season no end.
