Pearl Export Select ELX shellpack in ebony mist lacquer. Fusion sizes: 20 x 16in bass drum (with matching wood hoops), 10 x 9 and 12 x 10in rack toms and 14 x 15in floor tom. The kit's only been gigged a couple of times and it's in very good condition for its age. It's a January 2000 model, the last one before Pearl changed it to a split lug version. It has ISS tom mounts, not the old style bolt-on ones. The shells are hardwood laminate, according to the history they're 7-ply mahogany but they look like they also have a couple of maple layers. Whatever the case, they sound great when tuned. The toms are in LeBlonde hard cases and the bass drum has a Stagg zipped bag. The Remo batter heads only have about a month of playing on them. It has been well looked after throughout its life, but there are a few marks on the bass drum, which can be seen in the picture. This is the only damage though - given its age that's pretty good going. There are a couple of stickers on the bass drum head but they're quite cool ones, new heads are easy enough to get hold of if you don't like them, or you don't want a mic hole. It hasn't been played for about 6 months so will probably want tuning to get it sounding its best. It'll make a great first gigging kit, or a teaching kit. New price was £750 without cymbals.
