   Can someone please expain how to extract these files from a PC.
   
   I've downloaded Office 2007 from Isohunt in the form of a .rar file.
   
   Does it need to go into WinZip or something?

   Download WinRAR (or similar) and install, double click on the Office 2007 .rar you've downloaded, right click then extract here/to specified folder
