Saturday Promise , your views ?

Love the idea ? Hate the idea ? Not Bovvad ....?

I'd personally choose Promise over Shindig so my answer is not bothered

Personally i reckon it will work better for me , with going to matches on a satda i used to struggle to sort me self oot in time for a match after a good stint at promise so maybe this will work better for me , sunda matches arent as often , will probs feel the benefit of going to bed at a decent time friday with a lie in satda ( maybe / maybe not lol ? )

Its good that i wont be rushing around after work on fridays

There is no 4:35am train home on a sunday though

Id still go to Promise monthly and the odd Shindig or Wax on depending who was on and cash flow.

Love it!!! I tend to be busy on Friday nights in Durham and do naff all on a Saturday night so I'd like the change

Im not sure yet. Will just have to see. Shouldnt be tired from work tho which is a bonus. Only got one day to recover til work tho :spangled:

I prefer Friday nights- gives me something to look forward to all day when I'm bored at uni/ placement. And then I have the whole weekend to recover afterwards.
Now that Godskitchen has moved to a Saturday, it takes all day Sunday to get home and get my brain in order and before I know it, it's Monday again!:evil:

all depends on who promise book, someone like gabriel and dresden again would make me choose it over shindig, but the likes of judge jules, dave pearce, lisa lashes etc wouldnt

Doesn't make much differance to me! But it does mean all day benders before promise

I'll be very glad I have work on a Saturday so it has recently been making it hard for me to go to promise and have a good time cos I always know I have to get up...

It just makes me really really hate work as well, so I will much prefer the Saturday

I work sat nights and sunday morn so thas promise out the window for me when it moves to a sat

I prefer Fridays for the fact that i can get more wrecked and i have longer to recover / live @ Frans

At the moment i havent been to the Shindig for ages, normally if o do it gets to the point where after the banter keeps flowing and no sooer you look at your watch and the old "ohh fuck i have work soon" kicks in

It will be interesting anyways....

i dont mind either day, especailly from sept as i will b back at uni and will b able to hack it again

hhmmm i love promise being on a friday, not that i've been in ages but ever since the beginning of my raving life i've mostly had my local night of clubbing on a friday...
saturdays will take a bit of getting used to but will be class i think!! god i really miss the place, have gone from been there every week for the past 3 years to hardly ever going..
def coming in august tho when have got some pennies and have come back from ibiza!!
