I need to be able to look on the net at places if poss and any advice as to where and what streets are nice. I'm pref. after somewhere in Jesmond and have a fair bit of cash available.

I haven't got a clue where to begin however I'm sure I can trust thee with some help.

Your college might have a list of landlords who have places to rent and accept students. Some landlords might not accept students if you're looking on general websites

Try yetholm properties on the web or this link is good http://www.ukpropertyshop.com/pages/2650_estate.shtml

I found mine through Bowson lettings but I'm not sure if they do student flats.

It's SO over valued, I was paying £550 a month for a one bedroom flat.

    Ridiculous.
