Well I used to think you had so much more to give than that but now I'm not so sure.

Just had the first chance to have a full listen.

Liking the distant-sounding vocals and the bass, sounds well nice. Only thing I'd say is make the vocals a bit more prominent, but thats more a matter of taste ;)

Cheers mate, appretiate the feedback. Yeah the bass makes me wet as fuck, that cheeky key change has my boxers round my ankles.

I've sorted the vocals now it was shaking for some reason. Cheers Conway! X

WIKKID! Loving that bassline and some of those atmospheric sounds. Beaut melodies too.

Think the hat that comes in at 1.35 doesn't quite sound right though. The percussion in general is a bit flat and could have better arrangement in fact (even though it's obviously meant to be quite ploddy and stripped back anyway).

    Class though. x

You wouldnt be happy unless it was full on psytrance percussion so your opinion is void (but of course very relevent) so fuck off, and thank you

To be honest, and you can take this as a compliment, i thought you'd had 'help' with these tunes when i listened to them on soundcloud - since i've not heard you talk much about production at all (if at all).

Rossy has since set me right.

Well done, these sound wicked, and interestingly quite proggy from what i would have expected you'd do!

^I know it sounds obvious especially considering I've already told you but if you're not already you should concentrate on placing a percussion sound on every 16th note possible until it sounds like it could pick up a good groove. Get those Thomas Penton samples involved and smash in loads of bongos and shit like that.

Only just noticed yous have replied. Tom is very progressive these days. Only because I smashed him a new chakra.

Thankyou brother Brid, that means a lot. I've only been using ableton about 8 weeks now, I used to write melodies on fruityloops to make tunes with Bracken but apart from that I'm fairly new to it as I constantly ketted at Uni but now I'm in a creative environment and can get fully amongst it which is MINT.

I've just made a really silly old skool house tune which is about as proggressive as our government but it's fucking class, I'l put the link on in a minute X

Should hear the percussion I've just knocked out. Shame I've got two assignments in for monday like. Not the best time for designing sonic beazers. Might whack something up later. x

Just had a listen to both the above tunes. They are sounding good but I can't help feeling there is something missing but I don't know what it is

Keep up the good work though

Cheers for the vauge feedback Chewy! Perhaps the tracks being mastered would satisfy you? All the elements are there like as far as I can see but if they don't do it for you thats fair enough :)

Still can't get over how effective the cheeky bongo fill is in "The Struggle". Proper good.
