W7 - can you stop certain applications from connecting to internet

    Is there a easy way to block a application access to the internet.

    So they dont auto update etc *ahem*

    turn automatic updates OFF. should sort it.

    yeah, technically your PC should ask you to allow it to connect to the net? if it doesn't i'd get rid of that dastardly underhanded software!
