are you wanting to 'rip' a bluray disc into the .mkv container? if so let me know and ill show you the ways i know how to do it. If the container does not have to be .MKV will .TS do? If you can use the .ts format try this, so much simpler than dealing with all the audio stuff: 1) install Any DVD HD 2) Insert you Blu ray disk and rip the file structure to your PC 3) Open Clown BD (download online for free) and point it at the file structure you just ripped. It will ask what audio tracks and subs you want to keep 4) Output is a .TS file with uncompressed video and audio IF it has to be .mkv get back to me mate and i'll try and point yer in the reet direction.
cheers ill try this when i get a chance. my BDdrive in my Acer dosnt see Blu Rays anymore its gone ape since W7, there dosnt appear to be a fix either, bit of a joke even though its not in warrently if they sell you a blu ray laptop it should stay a fucking blu ray laptop
Does it have 'Acer arcade deluxe' on it ? if so have you tried installing PowerDVD 8 Ultra or higher?..this 'can' fix some of the issues ACERs are having since. Also since uping to W7 check that it has not reset your 'region' code on the software. go into acer arcade deluxe and into settings then go into bd and check the region is set to B If its one of Acers *920G range, powerDVD will resolve 100% mate
i lost arcade deluxe and then had huge problems finding it to download, i found a version but it didnt help, ill try the powerdvd option. mines a acer 6920 with a Optiarc BC-5500a drive
Aye ALL the *920 range have the issue, PowerDVD Ultra will resolve mate, let me know if you need 'assistance' obtaining it
