envy is lush, most bars rank higher than satellite.... too be fair Ikon is the lushest venue in Newcastle - even nicer than (dare I say it ) foundation.... just ashame about the music policy and crowd (Although thursdays are good )

The new Powerhouse is one of the best venues I've seen in Newcastle, but most of you probably won't get to see it!

true mate, i hate to see clubs closing, though it just goes to show newcastle doesnt have the strongest club scene
since i moved up here scotland yard, rockshots, the old world headquarters, the playrooms and now satellite have all closed..
which is such a pity

well mayb if icon had a dent night on i may not be screaming in agony thinking I want to get out of there seeing as I got drragged there on a wedneday for my whole first year and it was shit. and i went on a weekend and it was full of charvers aaarghhh so perhaps i didn't notice because i was tryin to shut my eyes so i didn't have to look at them and feel threatened or something.

and wasn't satellite the only club in ncl with three rooms, or is there another?

I'm sure when i went there was three rooms. I went on a friday (no don't worry it was b4 tuff started) to a breakbeat night called subway but that stopped. There was breaks in room1, hiphop in room2 and i think room3 was chill out witha pool table - was a really good night
