If there were lower taxes and more money going into the military where exactly would the money come from? I'm intregued....

As for less deaths, their were very few british casualties in this war and I doubt more troops would of been the answer - as the deaths tended to be ambushes, stray vehicles, etc.

I'm not saying the full on war was justified, becuase it probably wasn't, but there were other issuers too, such as the way he treated his people!

Although i know other countries have a much worse record so should have been higher up on the priorities list!
