aparrantly blyth is one of the easiest places up north to pass your test there are only a few routes.

i got a corsa trip 1.2 R- Reg and it was only £1500!

I passed first time. My route was round Kenton at 830am. Got stuck in all the school traffic. So all i did was crawl around at 3mph for 40 mins, and passed. Winner! :king:

Ive got a Pug 206. Got a loan, and bought it brand new with free insurance.

If you are thinkin of spending £5000, its worth spending a bit more and buying new. Basically, since you wont have any no claims if you have just passed, the insurance will be extortionate. The amount you save on insurance getting it free with a new car probably cancels out the extra interest on the loan. And you get a new car, with 3 years warranty. So no repair bills either.

The yaris is a fantastic small car, im not a big fan of the styling but it has an excellent engine and gives great mpg. I'd take a yaris over the corsa anyday.
Calibra's are quick, but a little sloppy on the corners, tent to understeer.
