I wore a Nick drake t-shirt to Promise Boxing day '03. Some charva decided it would be a good idea to stamp on a glow stick, and it marked my top. It has been sat lonely in a draw ever since, which is how Nick would have liked it to be :)

    Devendra Banhart is wicked.

Don't think anyone has mentioned Sufjan Stevens have they?

And Pete- Bright Eyes are awesome, Conor Oberst is a genius

Nope, but his band (the faint) are the boy! Download the Garden State soundtrack Pete, it's got a lot of acoustic, Nick Drake et al..

Iron and Wine is essential if not a bit gay.. and I quite like Ed Harcourt, but I'm not so sure..

Jose Gonzales is a one trick pony and Counting Crows are shit.

(apart from colourblind and round here which are my guilty pleasures)

no they're whiney middle of the road easy listening crap like the rest of the stuff you listen to... stereophonics, ocean colour scene, athlete, damien rice, razorlight, snow patrol....

the ones I listed aren't cool, they just have more depth than a paddling pool.. you'd like ed harcourt..

I didn't realise that Conor Oberst's band was the Faint!

Counting Crows are fucking awful- up there with the MOR stuff like Matchbox 20 etc.

Regina Spektor is by far and away from favourite acoustic artist at the moment.
