Hunting for food is fair game in my books

Hunting to clear pests/vermin from farms is also fair game, if its an instant death.

Hunting for fun and entertainment... 'blood sports' should be banned.

HOWEVER im totally pro-farmer, so i understand why farmers and small communities are up in arms about this. I'd imagine they wouldnt have any problem with it being banned if the government and supermarket industry hadnt screwed them so hard that any forms of supplemental income like these were so precious to them.

You are buying weed and contributing to the economy that surrounds it. Just because it isn't on your doorstep and you can't see it doesn't mean it isn't happening.

kerry, i wasnt aiming anything at you i was finding an example that would be easy to relate to...

2 enjoyable activites for different people, 2 set of people trying to restrict enjoyment...

my point isnt ban weed, its let things be...

Maybe you should. If we all thought a little bit more about the effects of what we do, the world wouldn't be such a mess!

    dont u see?

when u spark up a joint all the shit that has happened to GET that weed to you could well have involved children getting killed!

it involves a lot more than going n buying it off a dealer.

while everyones arguements are fair - comparing smoking to fox hunting is pointless - they are so totally different.

i see what u mean that u dont mean to hurt any1 and they do go out with the intention to hurt foxes...

but...by smoking it you are probably hurting sum1, just u dont realise...so its kind of the same really....cos u know deep down (even if it dont seem obvious) that u are hurting sum1 by smoking it

They complain when the government wants to put Asylum centres in the countryside. The countryside would be booming if each rundown village had approx 100 - 200 asylum seekers on full benefits as part of there community
