read the synopsis of the program.............its pretty clear what it will be................but you seem to know nothing about the situation, apart from seeing it on the tv, so for you it must be true, theres been a documentary on it and you have seen it.:monkey:

I think we should watch it first:

"Some of Northern Ireland’s strongest acting talent - Zara Turner, Bronagh Gallagher, Patrick O’Kane and Colum Convey - star in an emotionally-gripping film which explores the dispute from both sides"

They sound like good prod names though

Surely that is all 99% of the board are going to know about the situation. If you dont think we know enough about the troubles why post it on an English msg board????

god sake will you ever actually read my posts

read what you see, not what you think you see

i wasn't asking peoples opinions, i was stating that the BBC drama tonight will probibly portray all prods in northern ireland as thugs

i think peeps should watch this, it may be a good drama

but still remember that it may not be like that in real life.

i'm not asking for peeps to know everything, but it is dissapointing you don't know what is happeneing in your own country.

1 thing you've proved Johnty is that this is a subject that's almost impossible for anyone, especially a sectarian, to approach with an open mind.

The program is bound to show the prods in a bad light because I can't see how a program about Holy Cross could show them in anything else.... but had ya horses bonny lad, watch the program 1st then blow your stack tomorrow if you don't like it then :D

surely you'd be the same if your community/group/religion/whatever had been protrayed in a way that was incorrect and you didn't agree with?

    i know i would...

If you post something like that on a public msg board you are looking for people to give their opinions otherwise you wouldnt post it.

And i couldnt honestly give a shit what is happening in my so called "own country".
