I'm a sometime Promise attender, and Sparky's Dream is the name of my favourite song by my favourite band Teenage Fanclub.

When I decided to register on here, I thought that'd do as a username!

I think it would be a good thing for Promise because it is more likely to attract people from outside Newcastle, as they won't have to try to travel after work on a Friday.

I usually prefer going out on Friday nights but will enjoy not having to rush around after work on Friday.

ive always seen sat as a day for chilling out and relaxing cause promise has always bin on a friday. but not really bothered tbh.

bandwagonesque is a class album

Teenage Fan Club are amazing Bandwagonesque and Grand Prix where to of my favourite albums when growning up

I love all of their albums, but 'Grand Prix' just, just, slightly comes out on top.

I like it as well when people say who's the bands you like and I tell them, and they go 'Teenage Fanclub, who are they?'

It's as if you're a member of a club with a very cool secret

thats how it should be with teenage fanclub- imagine if they had become as big and as wank as someone like the strereophonics??

Definitely mate, they've stuck to their guns, did it their way and never compromised.

That's why in 20 years time, people will still be as fond of them, while the only thing they'll be saying about the Stereophonics is 'who?'

Pleased I decided to post on here a bit more now, and definitely in the mood to blast some Fanclub on the stereo when i get home tonight!

not everyone on here enjoys the sounds of hoovers and horns- i enjoy music that doesnt sound like heavy machinery

My vote woz not bothered ......... Friday Promise is all good because its a great start to le' weeknd and you have the rest to recover

im not too bothered, if its on a sat the chances are i wouldnt go because of shindig, if its on a friday i might make the odd one tho
