    The reason why you did get so many though is because they were season ticket holders. If you had bought a season ticket i'm sure that you would of still went no matter how badly they were playing.

    not true - there was still a lot of non-seasonticket holders attending....

    i had a season ticket as well, doesnt matter how bad they are playin wud still go yeah.....as wud every1...

    but...still had ppl buyin tickets to attend n support the team..

    All this shit that they bring out now is bullshit. Look at what they said about Boro fans being the best in the country a couple of seasons ago. They coundn't even sell out their ground for the Man Utd F.A. Cup game last season for God's sake

    I know that you are only trying to stick up for the team that you love mate, but face facts.

    How many free tickets were acually being giving away last season.

    In South Shields in the junior schools you could get an adult and child ticket for a premiership game for £15 pounds and the school would still get £8 of that money. This is not bullshit either mate.

    It was in a survey type thing along the same lines as you put up about Sunderland earlier on. Stuff about the percentage of the crowd living near the ground, etc, etc

    sunderland have ALWAYS given to schools etc.....its how they are....nice club....

    to be fair they have hardly took piss out of fans like newcastle have?

    that shit with the £500 bonds was APPAULING!!!!!

    but i dont see how givin tickets to schools etc is a bad thing?

    Can you not see though that this is one of many ways of filling the ground. They also do it at Colleges and Uni's. Newcastle do not have to do any of this, we put alot back into the community through many sources, but we do not go as far as Sunderland because we don't need to.
