Taking stuff back

If you didn't have a receipt you could get an exchange only. If you didn't like anythign else you just had to keep hold of the item until you found something you did like, cos if you don't have a receipt anyway there's no way of telling when you bought it.

If it was faulty and you didn't have a receipt it was the same thing however, if you made a massive fuss and kicked off, depending on who was the manager you could sometimes get your money back.

Thats it, if youmake a big enough fuss/embarrassment, you'll get what you want most of the time

I know, now if I wanna take something back I always make a massive fuss and take my mam in too, she's even better at arguing

WHAT A FUCK ON I HAVE HAD WITH THIS TODAY :evil:

Firstly it wasnt from the Gadget Shop it was from 'The Discovery Store' in Eldon square which was in a unit with Phones 4 u. However it isnt anymore its some other stupid shop called what you want or something

I asked the manager in that store if he could exchange it for me (as they stocked similar items) but he couldnt do anything as it was a discovery store item. After many phone calls i found out there is only 3 more 'Discovery Stores' left in the UK but couldnt fucking find out where they are. I rang the manufacturer of my item and it was evident they just sat with they're fingers up they're arses for a living cause they didnt help me ONE bit. :evil:

This is totally illegal practise.

shops should be fined for doing it and shoppers shouldn't be fooled into thinking they can do it!

your entitled to a exchange or credit note at least and by law YOUR MONEY BACK!!
