It's argued that the paradise garage sound system was better and that Twilo's was based on this but I can't comment on that cause unfort I never went....

Stereo in Montreal is suppose to be the best now, see David Morales' commments from his 16.5 hr gig their last Saturday:

Davids quote taken from thread on july 26,03 @ www.stereo-nightclub.com

WOW!!! I don't know what to say. I knew that the night was going to be great but @#%$ what the @#%$ was that?!
The night started very off for me by that I mean I was stuck at the airport for almost 3 hours, I couldn't eat my dinner because I was so nervous because of the anticipation, we had to work out some final fine tuning with the sound system but by 3:30am we were well on our way. All I can say is that STEREO IS THE BEST CLUB in the world and I can say that case closed! The night was just bliss it was such a journey It was so beautiful in there besides it being packed it was nice to see all the beautiful people smiling and laughing and really enjoying themselves. I want to say a special thanks to the Stereo staff for working so hard (I mean Late) haha!
Also I want to thank the Ness girls for the beautiful decor and performances I love u girls!

I've been at Stereo now for 4 years now and my god I can't believe how it just gets better and better I can't even think about me not coming back there until October what a bummer. I want to thank Shorty for doing a wonderful job with the sound system. Between the 2 of us we will bring you the best sounding room in the world and I will guarantee that! I've always wanted my own club and now I've finally got one. This is my Paradise Garage!

I love to dance it's why I come down periodically on the dance floor unfortunately somebody has to play records.
I wish that I could dance more with all of you. Sorry for some of the inconvenience that alot of you had to go through saturday night but all in all it was worth it 1000 times. I'm now in Florida visiting my son and his 2 pit bulls I will be playing dad for the next couple of days and then I'm off to europe for the next 2 months. To all of you have a great summer and I'll see you in October.
"Will u always remeber, will it last forever, was it what u imagined, or did it feel like magic" words from the song "How would u feel". ONE LOVE always David.

promise's soundsystem is good IMO but could be a lot better!!

when corvin dalek used to play, tunes with big basslines like poundz and pence sounded amazing!!wherever you were stood in a club the bass shook your whole body and was a great experience!!

a bit of tweaking here and there and i imagine it could give trance the same effect, although atthe moment i'm with revel etc that you can never hear vocals etc, still better than most tho!

    sankeys is very good.
    very loud, but very clear....
trisco - muska sounded emmense when the chemicals played it.
its seen countless trance DJs there too, and it was class.

I don't know much about nothing... but I was under the impression when getting a sound system of the quality of twilo/stereo/paradise garage it goes beyond an expensive rig and accoustics play a huge part in it (how the sound bounces off shit)... so surely even if the twilo rig was sold to sankeys/gods... it wouldn't be a patch on twilo....

    could be wrong :D

The sound system seems fine to me and I’m nearly always down the front.
I agree with Revel saying that Prog sounds mint coming out of those speakers.
The bass seems to go right through you!!!

    Foundation Sound System = [IMG]

the only issue ive ever had with it was during some trance sets, ive noticed a lack of 'high end'... but that may well be the dj's fault... but i dont think much could be done to improve that system really....

    :D :groovy: :D
